A diverse and challenging role in the Private Banking APAC Anti Money Laundering / Know Your Client and Sustainability Centre of Competence has opened up, which belongs to the Bank's PB APAC COO Organisation.

The key responsibility of the PB APAC AML / KYC CoC is to design, implement and manage an adequate AML / KYC and Sustainability Risk Framework :

  • Like to own - Together with the Team you are accountable to craft AML / KYC processes and controls that meet regulatory requirements in the APAC region and adhere to the Global Credit Suisse Policies and Global Minimum Standards.
  • As part of the PB COO Team it is our responsibility to design processes with the business outcome and the client experience in mind.

  • Enjoy digging deep - You are responsible to monitor the operational efficiency of our AML / KYC Framework and to pro-actively address any gaps / issues that are identified either by any control function or where Front Office feedback highlights any weaknesses.
  • Understand the big picture - You support the governance around the first Line AMl / KYC framework and engage with Senior Stakeholders to present and discuss changes to the framework.
  • You will support the Front Office Management to drive the risk culture in AML / KYC matters and set the right tone from the top.

  • High service mentality - joining the team means that you are required to have a high service mentality and to find the answers / solve the problems highlighted by the Front Office.
  • From time to time you may have to provide training on our AML / KYC and Sustainability framework to a large group of Front Office Stakeholders.

    Your skills and experience

    We are looking for :

  • Fast learner with at least 8 10 years of proven experience in a risk / control or related function in the Financial Industry.
  • Preferably with exposure / experience in Private Banking Anti Money Laundering topics.

  • A flexible Teammate, strong attention to details with a positive attitude
  • Confident personality with experience in handling business and operational risk issues and control matters
  • A critical mind set paired strong analytical skills and an interest to analyse / dig into big data to identify issues or control gaps
  • Good client and service orientation, enthusiasm and flair to deal with various personality types
  • Effective communication and stakeholder-management skills, particularly in the ability to liaise with senior Front Office as well as other key partners
  • Hardworking with minimal direct supervision, and to excel under pressure for meeting any tight deadlines
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Private Banking background is an advantage, but not mandatory (subject to the overall skills of the candidate)
