Job Purpose :
Assist Senior Manager to manage overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labour, productivity, quality control as established and set for the Hong Kong Operations Team.
Responsibilities :
Supervise the Hong Kong Operations Team on smooth processing of business submission, post sales transaction from all distribution channels and in accordance with agreed service standards
Drive and engage the team to achieve service efficiency and effectiveness through continuous service improvement and people development
Coordinate with internal departments and external insurance partners for business projects and daily operations in order to smoothen the business processing and operational procedures
Prepare analysis report to look for ways to streamline the processing workflow and to enhance overall operational efficiency and internal control
Ensure the defined service levels and metrics are aligned to customer / intermediary expectations and needs and drive for enhancement and streamline
Provide operational training to sales channels and internal departments when deemed necessary
Assist in ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or with equivalent experience. Insurance or with life underwriting knowledge is an advantage
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in financial institutions
Strong people and project management skills gained at a similar level
Able to guide, persuade and influence others with diverse background and at all levels
Proven problem solving and decision-making ability outside established procedures but within a policy framework
Experience of interpreting, analyzing and acting upon management information
Result-oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Desire to constantly achieve high levels of service coupled with a passion for continuous improvement
Value analytics and work quality with ability in striking a balance between people-oriented and result-oriented
Good communication skills in both written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) and English
