We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Planning .

Principal Responsibilities

  • Drive market / regional level marketing investment planning for ASP Marketing
  • Establish and oversee enhanced marketing effectiveness environment and ongoing best practice sharing
  • Lead marketing investment planning analysis & optimization for ASP Marketing
  • Direct and indirect Marketing cost management and liaison with Finance & different lines of business
  • Act as marketing investment planning consultants for WPB & B2B
  • Be the one-point contact for Global Marketing COO function on all Marketing Investment Planning related issues
  • Collaborate with country Marketing Programme teams to drive marketing investment management
  • Be able to leverage Finance, Business & other functions to drive Marketing Investment Planning recommendation / optimization / governance
  • Encourage and enable constructive cross-country and cross-business collaboration
  • Demonstrate Customer Centricity by thinking and acting beyond product sales
  • Adopt and champion the agile ways of working in marketing and participate in business value streams / cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrate and champion a speak-up culture by challenging actions and behaviours that are not consistent with HSBC's policies and / or the best interests of the business and its customers
  • KPIs will include, and not restricted to

  • Marketing performance improvement (ROMI and other business outcome)
  • Marketing investment planning & governance in line with AOP
  • Drive operational efficiency in line with function requirements and line manager’s objectives
  • Requirements

  • Degree level qualification in finance and / or business / marketing management related discipline
  • Broad based business experience within a Financial Service based institution, or an innovative customer / service based institution
  • Solid understanding of Marketing / Business Investment Planning management is a must
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Evidence of team leadership attributes. Experience and evidence of working within teams over multiple sites in a highly matrixed organization
  • Result-orientated and solution driven
  • Understand the use of data and analytics in deriving customer value
  • Able to influence at senior level to drive improvement. Proven ability to influence leadership teams
  • Proven ability to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts
  • Ability to bring key stakeholders and Functional colleagues with them as marketing strategies and plans are developed
  • Ability to distil complex business and customer environment into simple, strategically sound and insight led
