Computershare have an amazing opportunity for a talented and knowledgeable Organisational Design & Transition Lead to join us to support a global transformation project.

Computershare's People Team is in the process of transforming to one global People function, with one set of processes, policies, and a consolidated vendor approach, ultimately offering an amazing employee experience to everyone who works for the company.

As part of this transformation, we are about to embark on an Oracle Fusion implementation. Working as part of this project, you will have the opportunity to be involved in one of Computershare’s most complex and visible programmes as the Fusion deployment spans both the People and Finance teams, as well as being one of our corporate priorities.

A role you will love

As our OD & Transition Lead, you will be responsible for working alongside our business transformation and system implementation partners, to validate and finalise the Target Operating Model (TOM) for the People Team.

Our People Team already have a target operating model in place which is currently in transition state, however you will be tasked with validating and resizing as we work on the next phase of our project.

  • You will be leading on ensuring the validated TOM is implemented in line with the Fusion deployment and that all required steps such as team restructuring;
  • employee relations processes; team development plans and transition of work are completed in a controlled and sustainable manner.

    You will be supported by our Transition Analyst who will update Standard Operating Procedures etc.

    You will be working closely with our Head of People Transformation; the external transformation partner and the Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to ensure that the People Team are supported into their evolving roles.

    Other key responsibilities include :

  • Provide leadership, direction and oversight for TOM transition based on best practice and professional experience.
  • Engage with key stakeholders (with the support of the Employee Relations Team) as appropriate.
  • Ensure transition of work and a clear distinction between tier 0 / 1 / 2 / 3 services is established for system go-live.
  • Maintain and prioritise the Transition workstream plan and governance with the support of the People Transformation Project Manager.
  • What will you bring to the role?

    As you can imagine, we’re looking for somebody with in-depth knowledge and a solid understanding of administering employee relations processes within a global organization.

    Supporting the varying teams through the changes is key, so being able to support and motivate others, think on your feet, problem solve, and think outside the box are some key skills that you’ll need for this role.

    Excellent communication is going to play a pivotal part in this role; You will have the capability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at varying levels, with the ability to motivate team members through a complex, global implementation.

    You’ll also need :

  • Extensive experience managing team restructures and the transition of work
  • Experience working within a global HR / employee relations team
  • In-depth experience working with third party vendors & consultancy partners
  • Excellent organisation, documentation, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively deliver against critical deadlines, working and adapting in ambiguous situations.
  • Practical experience working within global, complex projects (Technology implementation / Oracle Fusion experience desired but not essential).

    Compensation. $78,000 - $130,000 (Please note that the advertised compensation is for US candidates only and is dependent on location and experience)
