The Team :

AsiaProduct Delivery Team is responsible for the on-boarding andimplementation of new J.P. Morgan Funds and mandates for Institutional Clients.

The team also manages change events on existing J.P. Morgan Fundsand Institutional accounts.

The Team consists of Implementation Managers, Project Managers andOperations Specialists.

The purpose of the team is to coordinate with internalstakeholders and external parties to support the operational implementation anddelivery of new Funds and Client Mandates to our OperatingPlatforms.

The team interface directly with Investment Teams, ProductDevelopment, Client Account Manager, Business Management, Operations, ProductDelivery teams in other regions (e.

g., UK, Lux and US), Third Party Vendors,Risk and Control functions.

The Role Product Delivery Specialist

  • Self-motivating - the role will need to balance the demands of the business and time to market, versus implementing change in a controlled and auditable manner.
  • Strong ownership the role requires end to end ownership of the on-boarding activities for initiatives, covering internal and external stakeholders’ interests including risks, oversight and control and compliance.
  • Strategic thinking the role requires the understanding of investment process, product and client pipeline, ensuring it is accurately tracked and properly prioritised.
  • Proactive stakeholder engagement the role manages the appropriate resources to adjust to changing requirements and demands of projects and business
  • Process driven the role requires constant effort to improve and enhance existing initiative tracking documentation and oversight processes
  • Key Responsibilities

    1. FundsImplementation - Deliver Fund Life-cycle events in a timely and comprehensivemanner

  • Engage Trustee, Custodian and Operations to ensure smooth execution of Fund Lifecycle events e.g. launch, rationalization, termination
  • Support Trustee and Custodian onboarding documentation requirements
  • Manage the communication flow between the investment teams and operations teams to achieve a smooth end to end project
  • Coordinate with cross-platform teams on new or change initiatives, including new markets / instruments initiatives
  • Manage stakeholders and run progress meetings during the lifecycle of the project
  • 2.Client Mandate Implementation - Deliver Segregated Mandate launch, custodyand portfolio change, and termination

  • Partner with Client Service to deliver client’s requirements on Asia platforms on lifecycle events including account on-
  • boarding, custody changes, off-boarding and transition

  • Manage the communication flow between the investment teams and operations teams to achieve an effective end to end project
  • Support Custodian onboarding documentation requirements
  • Coordinate with cross-platform teams on new or change initiatives
  • Manage stakeholders and run progress meetings during the lifecycle of the project
  • Engage Custodians, Brokers, Transition Managers and Third Party vendors during the execution of account Lifecycle events e.
  • g. custody changes or restructures

    Qualifications

  • BA / BS degree, with at least 2 years of industry experience
  • Solid project management / consulting experience with an understanding of Funds and Institutional business are strongly preferred
  • Demonstrate knowledge to Hong Kong Unit Trusts along with Fixed Income and Equity products are strongly preferred
  • Ability to influence and build alignment across teams and functions at all levels
  • Organised, ability to multi-task, prioritise, and collaborate vertically / horizontally and operate in a fast pace environment are essential
  • Demonstrate a strong record in leading multiple projects, business planning, aligning resources and driving execution
  • Strong communications in both English and Chinese with business level of spoken Mandarin is highly preferred
  • Proactive personality with the ability to consistently have the client as top priority
  • High level of self-motivation, integrity, ethics and focus on the client experience
