Job Summary : The Negotiations (Area Team Member) is primarily responsible for supporting Negotiations strategy methodology, design and deployment plans in the Global Center or Expertise (CoE).
This Job will support the Negotiations (Area Leader) to cascade global best practice, process consistency and synergies for Negotiations to be activated at the Area level and implemented at the Region level.
This Job will additionally support the development of Negotiations tools and processes to support Area and regional teams.
This Job will report to the Negotiations (Area Leader). Essential Functions of the Job : Activation
Act as a key conduit of information between the Global and the Region Negotiations layers
Team closely with Area Activation Leader to activate and maintain Negotiations as cascaded by Global Leadership in the Area and Regions
Cascade global best practice, process consistency and synergies for Negotiations to the regions, acting as a conduit of information between Global, Area and Regions
Provide consistent direction around Negotiations and drive synergies across the Regions
Build relationships with Global and Regional leadership to enable successful activation and implementation of Negotiations strategy and plans at region level and continued adherence to processes
Leverage proximity and relationships with Global, Area and Regions to facilitate and encourage successful integration of
Negotiations across global priority deals in the region
Instill Exceptional Client Service Principles (ECS) into the end-to-end Negotiations process at the Area / Region level
Provide advice / counsel to pursuit teams on commercial strategy for large complex deals and support large deals
Engage directly and coach client teams and clients on global priority deals to negotiate the best possible commercial terms
Maintain oversight of global priority deals across relevant regions to ensure flow through CoE process is followed
Instill Exceptional Client Service (ECS) principles in Negotiations
Successful activation and implementation of global Negotiations strategy in Area / Region respectively

Demonstrate success in building internal and external relationships at a senior level
Excellent project management skills
Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills
Depending on regional geography, some travel may be required as well as attending Area leadership meetings / training.
Internal and external obligations may require working after normal business hours.
Job Requirements : Education
University / Bachelor degree required
Advanced degree preferred OR Procurement qualification e.g. CIPS (This should be modified per region to meet cultural education requirements as determined by recruiting)
Approximately 10-12 years plus of previous sales, marketing, business development experience preferable
Previous experience of managing teams / communities
Worked in a large complex Global organization
Strong understanding of Negotiations with proven experience
Experience leading and managing high performance teams
Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Expected to remain current on relevant EY training and curriculum e.g. Account Management Framework (AMF), Lead Badges, among others
Complete relevant Negotiation skills training and learning as required e.g. CIPS
