Lead and manage NRF’s pro bono program in Australia,based in any our of our offices nationally.We are excited to be recruiting a dedicated pro bonopartner to the firm, responsible for leading, andstrategically managing NRF’s pro bono program in Australia.
As athought leader and spokesperson for the firm’s pro bono practice, thisrole will aim to build strong relationships with both internal andexternal stakeholders / firms.
This position will be pivotal in buildingthe profile of the firm’s offering, ensuring the effective delivery ofpro bono services, and ensuring that pro bono targets are achieved.
Responsibilities : Design, implementation and delivery of NRFA’s pro bonostrategy ensuring the effective delivery of pro bono services nationally.
Lead, motivate and train a team of pro bono lawyers.Drive the growth of NRFA’s profile in the external probono market as both a thought leader, and through the development ofeffective relationships with new and existing external stakeholders.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders,ensuring practice groups fulfil individual and firm wide pro bono targets.
Hands on delivery of pro bono services in conjunctionwith the pro bono team and fee earners.Work closely with partners in relation to client collaborationsRegular periodic reporting on pro bono activities, bothinternal and external.
Field internal / external pro bono queries.Manage approvals for fee estimates.Ongoing risk management, including reputational risk managementRequirements : You will be both a qualified lawyer, and passionatesupporter of pro bono.
You will demonstrate outstandingcommunication skills, and be well versed in navigating thecomplexities that come with working in a large law firm.
You shouldalso be able to demonstrate : Strong project management skills.Ability to lead and engage with cross functional teams.
Client relationship management experience.A commercial mindset, with experience managing and implementing strategy.Supervision experience, with the ability to motivate and influence.
A desire to deliver the highest standard of legal service to clients.The ability to foster a high performance culture, providing cleardirection and effective delegation.
