Accountabilities and Activities
Lead team to achieve sales targets in pursuit of the most favourable terms and profitability to the company
Be accountable for new business sales targets
Assist to develop and maintain a sales strategy and business plan for intermediaries and direct clients. Use the business plan as a roadmap for setting / developing sales goals.
Communicate and cascade the agreed sales strategy to the sales team clearly and effectively
Work closely with marketing team to access current sales tools and drive the creation of new solutions
Collaborate with marketing team to plan, deliver and manage an effective communication and demand generation campaign for each channel partner
Support Head of Business Development on development and execution of new business strategies
Build and maintain relationship with intermediaries to create increased sales opportunities.
Lead discussion in driving new business with direct customers and form strategies with various stakeholders
Establish and execute the business plan for acquiring and enabling channel partners
Liaise with various operations departments to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the customer journey
Participate in new initiatives and service enhancement projects
To be considered for this role, you should ideally have
Bachelor degree in business or equivalent qualification
5 10 years’ relevant job experience with at least 1 year in supervisory role in insurance / medical insurance field
Possession of valid general insurance license is preferred
Background in the health insurance market or other financial services industries such as Life Insurance, Retail, Commercial or Investment Banking and Wealth Management is an advantage
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
Previous experience of a complex and multi skilled customer facing roles within a contact centre setting
To be highly customer focused and
strong understanding of the sales process and channel sales
An ability to speak Mandarin would be an advantage
