Applicantsshould have (i) a Bachelor's degree or above in a health-related discipline, suchas Biological Science, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Science;
ii) a good commandof both written and spoken English and Cantonese; (iii) good interpersonalskills and communicative skills;
iv) a strong sense of responsibility andself-motivation; (v) knowledge of statistics and research methods; (vi) a strongcommitment to high quality clinical research;
vii) knowledge of MS Office(Word, Excel and PowerPoint), statistical programmes, as well as experiencewith other relevant software;
and preferably (viii) experience in clinicalresearch related activities.
Theappointee(s) will (a) assist in organising clinical research projects at thePrince of Wales Hospital in Shatin; (b) participate in study co-ordination,patient assessment, as well as clinical data collection, entry and analysis;
c) perform clinical research start-up, monitoring and site managementactivities; and (d) perform other tasks as assigned.
Working at irregular hours(including night shift), at weekends or on public holidays may be required.
Appointment willinitially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutualagreement.
