We are currently looking for Senior Financial Controller to join us.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to : Regional Finance Director

  • In this role, your goals will be :

    In three months :

  • Drive annual budget and quarterly forecasts process with the Markets and provide commentary highlight for each market and region.
  • Work closely with market finance to provide a timely and quality sales and headcount forecasting.
  • Manage the entire reporting functions with the Markets in the region
  • In six months :

  • Work closely with market finance to provide a timely and quality sales and headcount forecasting.
  • Monitor the debtor aging and provision, intercompany transaction and settlement status with the markets.
  • Co-ordinate with WPP Treasury on the cash management and manage achievability of the targets.
  • Ensure compliance of the SOX Controls with business processes in place, prepare the internal control guideline and procedure for each control for the regional finance functions.
  • Drive and implement the policy, regulatory or SOX and reporting changes required for Finance. Communicate the requirement to each market with a proper monitoring.
  • In 12 months :

  • Liaise with GroupM Global Finance to effectively manage the overall reporting function and respond to queries, ad hoc request.
  • Provide support, training and guidance to market finance on the reporting and finance reporting matters.
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors and manage the review.
  • Drive for process improvement for best practice and automation, to optimize the reporting efficiency and effectives in the region.

  • What youll bring :

  • Possess strong business acumen with a strategic mindset
  • Must be analytical with good communication and negotiation skills and able to operate independently
  • Expected to have exposure to multifunctional activities in addition to strong technical financial expertise
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • University degree major or above in Business / Finance or related discipline.
  • With at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proactive, meticulous and able to work independently, efficiently and under pressure in a demanding and fast pace environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good interpersonal & communication skills with ability and confidence to work with all levels
