Revenue Manager (APAC & Europe) Hong Kong Global Software Provider HKD60K pm + excellent benefits
You will be responsible for ensuring that the company is maximizing the revenue generated by the sales of our products and services, supporting sales / business teams to close deals while at the same time ensuring a reasonable margin is achieved and pricing policies are adhered to.
Oversees the preparation of monthly financial revenue forecast and performance reports plus commentaries. You will also need to ensure revenue goals are met, understand and identify upside / risk factors in advance and bring to the leadership team's attention for appropriate action.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Support Head of Sales to oversee opportunity pipeline / revenue management of the organization.
Review all potential client contracts / deals to ensure they comply with pricing policies and the standard terms and conditions, any discrepancy will require proper approval.
Ensure proper selling strategies are in effect and adhere to the company standards; and mentor, coach and educate all relevant departments on opportunities pipeline / revenue management to ensure all parties are working on intelligent revenue strategies to maximize revenue and margin
Weekly sales and orders pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting
Gather and analyses statistics, market information, latest product development and all other relevant information in order to identify potential new business, markets and trends and to minimize risk
Summarize and forecast on the state of the company's financial affairs (revenue focus), prepare weekly / monthly reports : detailed understanding of revenue / margin by customer / project / product to provide insights to leadership team.
Monitor and adjust sales and pricing strategies to include all market segments in accordance with pricing policies
Coordinate with sales team / business to set yearly budgets based on opportunity pipeline information, market growth assumptions and strategy etc.
Responsible for best practice standards to include : competitor analysis, environmental scanning, market modelling, business mix yield management, pricing control and new pricing concepts
Understand the sales commission scheme and assist sales team to achieve their goals, focusing on revenue generation, money collection plus any other finance components in the scheme.
Coordinate with the Accounting team or other internal departments to ensure proper execution.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Business or other related field
Minimum of 3 years of successful revenue management experience in financial management
Hands-On working style with in-depth knowledge of day-to-day operations
Strategic, analytical, flexible and creative thinker with the ability to solve complex problems
Highly motivated individual with a proven track record of sales growth achievements in professional services industry
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well as a team, but at the same time can push back on situations where company policies are not complied with
Attention to details, excellent organizational and analytical skills
Strong project, time management and ability to prioritize work
Demonstrate ability to lead initiatives and show skills in follow up, multi-tasking, leadership and accountability for the team actions
