Report to the English speaking Managing Director
Liaise closely with management team on operational and strategic imperatives
Provide overall planning and effective management control of the finance and IT functions including systems development and integration
Manage the company’s domestic finance team with line responsibility for overseas accounting and reporting.
To oversee group functions in corporate finance and accounts
Review various accounting practices in business units within the Group with the aim to formulate the best practice and to align across the Group
Develop, implement and maintain financial policies, internal control and procedures
Provide sound financial and business advice to the senior management; and engage in ad hoc projects.
Take full responsibility of accounting and reporting, including full set of book keeping and month-end financial statements of the Group and its subsidiaries.
Review and enhance all kinds of internal reports to management
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, tax and other statutory requirements
Ensure ethical accounting practices to comply with government regulations and contractual agreements
Prepare financial review and analysis, corporate budget and forecast, and cash flow projection
Ensure all month-end closing reports, financial, management and consolidation reports
Take leadership in budgeting and planning for growth
Organize commercial negotiations and coordinate with external parties e.g. Auditors, Bankers, Lawyers and Advisers to keep abreast of policies to ensure greatest benefits to the company
Support domestic and international sales projects as required
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned
At least 8 years of relevant working experince
Good ORAL English and Cantonese
