Main responsibilities :

  • Provide functional and technical expertise on Calypso as a back-office system.
  • Application monitoring for capital markets trade processes (24 / 7, worldwide).
  • Support business users (trader, risk manager, market risk monitoring operator, back-office and middle-office analyst, market data administrator).
  • Analyze and manage incidents / problems / requests, working closely with project, infrastructure and production teams.
  • Support daily, weekly and monthly regulatory reporting for all sites.
  • Maintain knowledge base for the applications and processes in the team's scope.
  • Provide requirements to build a team for bug fixing and continuous improvements.
  • Application monitoring responsibilities :

  • Supervise and monitor daily and monthly chains and handle user requests by working closely with the project, infrastructure and production teams.
  • Process and issue daily, weekly and monthly reporting on data quality of risk chain in which the activity is usually more intense on monthly runs.
  • Incidents and Requests management (business users and other IT teams) :

  • Provide level 1 and level 2 application support to the business users
  • Communicate effectively.
  • Analyze and manage incidents.
  • Change management :

  • Release testing
  • Performance analysis
  • Production deployment and validation
  • Production releases on weekend
  • Problem management and continuous improvement :

  • Provide non-functional requirements to build a team to implement monitoring as code.
  • Prepare and maintain a knowledge base within the scope of the team.
  • Find and eliminate the root cause of recurrent incidents.
  • Collaborate with the build team to assess the priority of problems and follow up the resolution, even contributing to the definition of long term solutions.
  • CI / CD implementation
  • Qualifications :

  • 4+ years experience in support activity and exposure to capital markets FO / BO, with 2 years experience with CALYPSO as back office.
  • CALYPSO experience : Workflows - trade, transfer, message, TaskStation, Accounting, Reporting and Reconciliation, Confirmations, Clearing & Settlement, Regulatory Reporting, Repo and Collateral, Cash Management.
  • Exposure with EOD batch, Control M, ITRS Geneos monitoring, SQL, Unix, CI / CD tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Pro-active mindset in security, incident preventive measures, improvement of the quality of service
  • Understanding the trade lifecycle and financial products (FX, Money Market, Fixed Income, Bond, Repo, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Our projects are primarily long-term, from 6 months to 2 years. During that time, we will discuss your career progression, training that you can undertake and make sure you keep learning through your engagement
