You will be joining Pictet Wealth Management Hong Kong and will be supporting the Business Risk team based in Hong Kong.
Your role
The Business Risk Manager will be part of the Business Risk team supporting all aspects of first line of defense of the Pictet Wealth Management ( PWM ), and will be responsible in leading a team in organizing and conducting 1st level controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and business environment requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead the Business Risk Management Team in performing 1st level of controls.
Take charge of the ICS and RCSA relating to the Business.
Provide advice, design and perform controls on the Bank’s sales and advisory process.
Provide advice, design and perform controls on the Bank’s cross border requirements.
Be the 1st point of contact for the business on risk and compliance topics.
Support the design, development and implementation of projects and procedures related to the Business.
Incidents handling including complaints, data breaches, etc.
Take charge of the front office key risk indicators and annual front office scorecard reporting.
Support the Head of Business Risk and Compliance Management in embedding robust risk awareness throughout the Business.
Perform any needed supervisory controls such that team review quality are appropriate.
Perform any required remedial efforts identified from risk assessment or audit findings.
Handle and contribute to audits or inspections relating to the department.
Review on an annual basis, high risk relationship criteria in accordance with group standards.
Consolidate and prepare relevant management information to Senior Management on the health of controls and observations noted.
Guide junior members of the team.
Any other duties as assigned.
Your profile
Bachelor degree
Over 8 years’ experience in a private banking surveillance experience role.
Quality assurance in private banking surveillance compliance related function is preferred.
A good knowledge of HKMA / SFC rules / regulations in Hong Kong.
Familiarity with Hong Kong banking landscape and regulatory expectations on area of responsibility.
Highly effective communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task competing priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Critical and strategic thinking, ability to face challenging situations and be assertive as needed.
Capable of working with cross functional and senior stakeholders.
Sense of accountability, good time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
