Develop energy engineering teaching apparatus and conduct laboratory teaching modules;
Provide technical and teaching support for research and teaching laboratories;
Build and design laboratory set-ups; manage, handle and maintain laboratory equipment, as well as train students on equipment operation;
Work with faculty members and technical team on laboratory issues;
Maintain occupational health and safety in laboratories; and
Perform general laboratory or other duties as assigned.
A good honours degree in Chemistry / Engineering or related disciplines, with at least 2 years’ relevant laboratory experience;
Extensive experience in handling, building, designing, maintaining and servicing various types of laboratory equipment and set-ups;
Familiarity with general laboratory safety standards;
Good communication and interpersonal skills;
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
Willingness to work irregular hours; and
Working knowledge of programming language would be an advantage but not mandatory.

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-
