Support a broad range of operational and financial risk initiatives for the business.
Manage elements of Aegon’s Operational Risk Framework, including :
Assisting regular risk and control documentation and related control validation and updating of risk policies
Providing risk management guidelines and framework updates to staff members to promote risk management culture
Assisting process owners in their compliance with the risk policies and internal requirements
Assisting with on-going monitoring of TLB’s policies and procedures to ensure they are updated to include proper operational risk mitigating controls
Updating and following up the Local Loss Database, KRIs, control implementation plan, risk management reporting, BCP related documentation, outsourcing assessment
Assisting in administering risk management SharePoint
Support general administration and documentation for TLB Risk Function
CPA with 5-7 years of experience in operational risk or internal audit
Bachelor degree, with preference of specialization in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
Knowledge in Insurance Operations; SOX / COSO Internal Control Framework, and Insurance regulations
Competent in MS tools
Good command of both oral and written English
Good time management
Analytical and problem solving skills
Independent and self-motivated
Team player who is willing to break from the crowd when necessary
Knowledge in FLMI, CISA and FRM
Confidence and professionalism
Strong ability to influence
Open to creative ideas and alternative solutions
Persistent and Resilient
Ability to multi-task and remain detail orientated
