Job Highlights

Degree / Diploma holder in Information Technology

At least 2 years of experience preferably in education

Knowledge of Information System and configuration

Job duties :

Assist to manage and protect school database for its integrity, confidentiality, and availability

Work with appointed vendor to operate and maintain any system infrastructure equipment such as servers, storage, firewall, networking equipment and an integrated wireless infrastructure

Respond to teachers and / or parents issues via phone, email or other established support channels

Work with and communicate with all levels of users to develop systems and an infrastructure to meet service level agreement of systems services

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and / or software issues

Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software

Follow-up with users to ensures issues are resolved

Asset management and inventorying skills

Assist to coordinate acquisition, installation, upgrades and manage the school owned networks and computing platforms

Assist IT / AV (hardware, application, photo taking / recording, AV setup for school events) for all users (students, staffm and parents)

Assist to plan for the development and implementation of new, efficient and effective technology solutions that maximize school's resources and other external resources

Work independently while simultaneously being a collaborative team member striving for team success

Any ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned

Job Requirements :

Degree / Higher Diploma / Diploma holder in Information Technology discipline or equivalent; holder of MCSE, RHCE, CCNP is an advantage

at least 2 years relevant experience, preferably in the education field

Google Workspace (formerly Google Suite), Microsoft office 365 and Active Directory design, configuration and administrator experience

Basic Knowledge in web-based application of various systems, such as Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, Shellscripts

Knowledge of Student Information System and configuration such as eClass

Willing to learn, detail-minded and good problem-solving skill

Ability to work independently and under pressure

Candidates with more experience / higher qualifications will be considered as Senior IT Officer
