house developed software of the current flight planning system and develop the solutions to support the functions not available in the new flight planning system.
Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the logic and programs of the in-house developed software in the current flight planning system.
Participate in the new flight planning system project to understand the functions and the outputs / formats of it.Design and develop the solutions and programs if needed, with other teams if required, to support the required functions not available in the new flight planning system.
Implement and maintain the solutions.Draft the policies and procedures for the new in-house developed solutions and deliver user trainings as required.
Analyse feedbacks to help identify problems or issues for contributing and improving the overall system and operational integrity and provide fixings as required.
Provide 24x7 technical and operational support services to the daily flight planning and data maintenance activities in case needed.
Execute specific tasks as required by Assistant Manager Flight Planning Services / Flight Planning and Navigation Services Manager.
Attend internal and external meetings as required.RequirementsHands-on programming experience and knowledge in web services, ETL development, Microsoft server and XML processing.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem solving skills.Tertiary educated preferably in Computer Studies.
