Food and Beverage Operations Manager

  • Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage, the Operations Manager ensures the efficient and smooth operation of multi F&B restaurants while being responsible for guest satisfaction pertaining to exceptional F&B service.
  • He or she needs to,

  • plan, organize and control the production of all menus, involving comments, designs and price structure;
  • Participate in the development, implementation and review of standards of performance for the F&B service activities, which meet guests’ needs and in line with the operating concept of the individual outlets;
  • Keep abreast designated restaurant promotions, product knowledge, VIP arrivals, and upcoming events, and brief direct subordinates accordingly to enable them to anticipate and answer guest requests and questions;
  • Establish and maintain professional, effective and efficient communication within the Food & Beverage Department and the entire Hotel;
  • Assist Director of Food & Beverage plan yearly Food and Beverage marketing strategies / budget / Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) / Forecast;
  • Constantly seek new procedures, methods and policies, which could improve business results and servicing;
  • Develop, implement & oversee F&B departmental training to improve or even examine all possible standards of operations based on relevant surveys such as guest service surveys;
  • Requirement .

  • At least 8 years hotel Food & Beverage working experience with minimum 3 years at management positions;
  • International hotel group working experience with minimum 3 years in luxury properties;
  • Solid experience in similar capacity or strong work experience in restaurants & bar management in role of Restaurants Manager overseeing at least 2 restaurants is preferred;
  • University or post-graduate diploma or equivalent professional hotel training is required;
  • High-level F&B market awareness with entrepreneurial mind;
  • Prompt and systematic decision making skills with analytical power;
  • Independent & ability able to work under pressure;
  • Good delegation & interpersonal skills; &
  • Excellent command in English and Cantonese. Language Proficiency of Mandarin is a plus.
