Support front office to handle Bank Guarantee operations for clients
Overall monitoring and governing the Section in meeting the clients’ commitment and completing the routine operations without delay.
Execute the duty of 'A' level controller to validate / authorize the daily operations
Ensure Bank Guarantee issued are according to procedures, rules and relevant guidelines.
Direct and control the overall operations of the Section for maximizing productivity and ensure services quality can be achieved.
Contribute and support Business on strategies initiation.
Responsible for ensuring team members and trade transactions comply with regulatory requirements, vigilance policy, AML and related internal guidelines.
Identify training needs / career development for staff members and provide them necessary training.
Ensuring operations are covered by up-to-date operating procedures and to ensure which is followed by members.
Review irregular and problematic transactions and to provide guidance to the staff members to take appropriate follow-up actions.
Recommend actions in matching the changes in law, ICC rules, Government regulations and Bank policies.
Any other activities relating to trade operation processing as assigned by Management.
Bring Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework
Minimize operational failure, including but not exclusively the risk of fraud by helping to devise and by implementing sufficient regular controls
Ensure appropriate escalation to management and / or permanent control (or compliance as appropriate) as soon as an issue is identified.
Comply with internal and external regulatory and compliance requirements
Comply with the BNPP standards of Code of Conduct
Comply with the BNPP IT Security policies
Anti Money Laundering / Financial Sanctions AML / FS ) related duties : Operations are an integral part of the control framework including for AML / FS topics.
In that respect, in performing your role you are expected to ensure adherence to AML / FS related Group Policies and execution of associated operational controls, and to promptly escalate any resulting hit for analysis and decision.
Share knowledge and experience with colleagues in team to build up team spirit and / or improve working efficiency.
Contribute in developing new products or plans jointly with other teams / sites.
