Teach, support and assess undergraduate students’ veterinary clinical skills in tutorials, field trips, practical classes and other training activities;
Tutor problem-based learning courses in the BVM curriculum;
Provide clinical veterinary services in one or more veterinary species as required to support JCC BVM students during clinical placements;
Assist with the development and implementation of course-based materials and resources;
Provide administrative support to academic faculty for teaching and learning such as managing course content on the JCC’s online learning platform and assessment activities; and
Perform any other duties as assigned.
A Bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine registerable in the Veterinary Surgeon’s Board of Hong Kong with a valid Practicing Certificate and not less than 5 years’ working experience in a veterinary clinical environment are required.
Experience as a clinical veterinarian is essential.
The ability to speak Cantonese and / or Mandarin is desirable but not essential. Additional qualifications or experience in veterinary education would be an advantage.
