What you'll do :
Handle a range of legal work, include drafting and negotiating complex contracts
Fostering compliance by enforcing internal policies and procedures from a legal perspective
Advise the company on a wide range of regulatory and commercial legal issues
Provide support to business units and management on complex and sensitive legal matters, such as dispute resolution and prevention, risk assessment, partnerships, investment, new markets entries etc
Act as a liaison to interact with external legal counsels and regulatory authorities
Keeping abreast of current law knowledge and regulations relevant to the company’s development and needs
Oversee legal research and assist in legal administrative tasks
What we seek :
Master of Laws or LLM
At least 6 years of legal experience ideally in top tier national or international law firm / company
PRC bar experience preferred or qualified in common law jurisdiction
Experience leading a small team of legal professionals
Solid knowledge of general business law issues of an independent power producer, including regulatory framework.
Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines
Good experience in handling corporate commercial matters
Excellent command in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
