Sales Manager


Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager Asia Retail & Unit Link, the incumbent will work closely with the broader asset management sales team, client servicing team, marketing and product teams.

He or she will be a proactive self-starter capable of managing relationships from inception through to completion.

Management of relationship with existing clients and acquisition of new clients in South East Asia with a focus on Thailand.

Key Accountabilities

  • Act as first point of contact for prospects of local asset management firms, institutional clients, wholesale clients and financial intermediaries etc
  • Maintain and enhance good relationships with existing clients and prospects
  • Increase brand awareness and visibility of AXA IM according to agreed marketing and / or PR communication plan
  • Proactively recommend our firm's Investment management products & solutions to prospects and clients
  • Regularly coordinate portfolio manager / product specialists’ meetings with prospects and clients to show-case our investment capabilities
  • Conduct fund product briefings & trainings as per request by clients
  • Explore and identify potential business opportunities including FIF via Master Feeder, Fund of Fund structure or other new opportunities unfold
  • Regularly get market intelligence and keep abreast of latest market and investment products trend
  • Analyze competitive landscape of designated markets & implement proper sales strategy
  • Strong client-centric mentality, nimble and swift to respond to clients and prospects enquiries and needs
  • Take ownership for client issues and drive resolution through leveraging firmwide resources and deliver high level of client satisfaction
  • Ongoing updates and maintenance of Prospect / Client database
  • Assist in other ad-hoc business-related tasks as instructed
  • Qualifications

  • Fluent in Thai and English is required with both verbal and written
  • University Degree in finance / economics / accounting / marketing or related disciplines
  • Professional qualification like CFA preferable
  • Solid experience and knowledge of mutual funds products and operations, preferably in fixed income, equities (including sector / thematic equities) and / or multi-assets
  • Meticulous and attention to details
  • Team player opens to collaborate with other internal & external stakeholders
  • Possess 7 or more years of extensive experience in the funds and / or financial industry
  • Obtained relevant necessary license and qualifications as required by regulator (preferred)
  • Efficiency in using MS. Office or other applications e.g. Salesforce
