Main Responsibilities

  • Direct and drive the team- overall sales activities in pursuing business objectives and supervises the team in delivering professional service to both internal and external customers covering full range of Treasury products (FX spot, forward, swap, option, NDF and other structured, interest rate hedging and fixed income products).
  • Be accountable for the product and sales strategy. Keeps abreast of latest market development and helps to explore suitable treasury products for targeted clients in the market.
  • Provide treasury sales activities and treasury products market information in particular to designated business lines

  • Monitor or help perform trade orders execution and provide treasury product advisory to frontline relationship managers.
  • Manage the team- performance and maximize the team- resources for 24 hours service. Ensure smooth deal execution and efficient operation so as to maximize bank profit and team members-contribution.
  • Perform overall supervision and provide team members with coaching / guidance to ensure them in compliance with legal, regulatory and ethical standards, of the required quality, in adherence to the Bank- corporate values, risk management policies and service standards.
  • Take charge of the team- sales deliverables, manpower planning and budgeting; participate in product marketing programs as well as new product development and process enhancement projects to support business development.
  • Work closely with other internal divisions such as Risk Management, Legal & Compliance, Fintech, Operations, Data Management & Marketing Division, etc.
  • Review the training materials and evaluate the training effectiveness to frontline relationship managers by enhancing their treasury product knowledge.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above.
  • HKMA Type 1 & Type 4 licenses are required
  • CFA or ECF-TM qualification is preferable.
  • Minimum 12 years of solid sales and execution experience in FX / Treasury products plus minimum 5 years of Treasury sales supervisory experience
  • Strategic and analytical mind-set. Sales oriented. Exhibits strong leadership drive for result and success. Be able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good command of verbal and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
