Reuters is looking for an experienced and energetic journalist with outstanding news judgement and technological savvy to drive our breaking news coverage from China at a historic time in the country’s development.
This is an action-packed leadership role, with unique challenges and rewards, on one of the world’s biggest and most complex stories.
The successful candidate will lead a team of journalists generating breaking news coverage across a full range of topics.
Based in Beijing, the China Breaking News Editor will drive event coverage planning and monitoring of a wide array of sources, generating coverage across the story cycle, from news alerts and our first quick-hit stories on breaking news, to bigger updates on the top stories of the day.
