Our client is a well-established Art Gallery which their exhibition spaces cover the leading cities in Asia. With their rapid business expansion, they are now looking for a high caliber Sales and Marketing Professional to join their dynamic team.
Sales
Assist with Director and Sales team in planning and executing the performance and business strategies for different markets in Asia
Actively attend art fairs, exhibitions and art-related events to identify business opportunities and generate sales
Establish and maintain strong local and global network of clients, collectors, museums and relevant art professionals
Lead the Hong Kong team to work effectively towards the target
Provide professional client services with in depth artwork knowledge
Manage the artwork sales flow to ensure all the sales targets are achieved and after sales services are properly provided
Monitor the gallery inventory and sales system
Marketing
Establish and maintain the gallery’s relation with the press and media locally and internationally
Oversee the marketing and branding programme for Hong Kong gallery and work closely with marketing team in other Asian cities for global promotion
Plan and organise promotional events in Hong Kong
Attend social events on behalf of the Hong Kong gallery
Manage the gallery’s social media channels to explore potential digital platforms to reach target audience
Requirements
Degree holder in Art, Business, Marketing or other related disciplines
At least 5 years’ relevant experience in gallery, auction house, museum or art foundation
Proven track record of sales is required
Rich knowledge in Chinese contemporary art market
Knowledge of Southeast Asia and Western art would be an advantage
Excellent command in both spoken and written English and Mandarin , native English speaker preferred
The ideal candidate should be a cheerful and enthusiastic team player with strong sense of responsibility and meticulous work attitude
