Major Duties :
To (a) perform teaching duties including supervision of students' projects and fieldwork placement; (b) carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
c) develop and refine programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; (d) act as Module Co-ordinator / Leader of Structured Whole Person Development (SWPD) Programme;
e) plan, design, organise and evaluate student developmental programmes; (f) assist in validation and accreditation of programmes;
and (g) participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions.
a) A recognised degree in Social Science, Social Work, Liberal Studies, or relevant discipline, or professional qualifications;
b) Experience in teaching and developing generic skills modules and teaching / supporting students with special educational needs will be an advantage;
c) A good team player with the ability to work independently under pressure; and (d) Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.
Shortlisted candidates may be required to take a written assessment in English.
Successful candidates may be required to perform duties in different locations and / or outside normal office hours.
