We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Data Manager
Principal responsibilities :
Assist the RBWM CDO to lead and support data strategy initiatives in the bank.
Partner closely with all stakeholders of the bank (IT, Business, Functions) to align directive and deliverable.
Understand business process and requirements to ensure deliverables are meets the scope.
Act as a single point of contact for the responsible data projects and initiatives.
Arbitrating the CDO community for the implementation of project deliverables.
Throughout the lifecycle of the project, the data manager will also be responsible for enforce data principles to the stakeholders / subject matter experts / BAU processes, thus promoting the driving the data culture.
Assist RBWM CDO to manage the implementation of all Data Quality (DQ) dashboards, lead all the DQ rules refinements and drive DQ issues resolutions to maintain a high quality standard for all critical data identified.
Perform business analytics role and be able to propose / recommend solutions to enable business initiatives or strengthen risk control.
University degree in Business Administration or other relevant qualifications
5-7 years of banking experience with good knowledge of Retail Banking / Investment business.
Possesses strong management skills, e.g. experience of working with different levels of stakeholders.
Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business users, consultants, technical experts across the whole department and business units.
Strong interpersonal skills and able to build and maintain global relationships.
Strong leadership and time management skills.
Proven ability to prioritize competing demands.
Be delivery focused with ability to pay attention to detail and ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required levels of quality.
Proven experience in identifying and managing the risks, issues and dependencies related to complex data projects.
Good knowledge of regulatory trends and developments (with particular data focus).
Outstanding written / verbal communication and presentation skills.
Previous experience in managing projects / programmes.
Possesses knowledge on some common Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Alteryx) will be an advantage
