We are looking for a Client Service Manager / Senior Client Service Manager to join our Client Service Team in Hong Kong for our core Asia business with the focus on Greater China.

This role will deliver high quality client service to our retail clients, delivering a differentiated service experience focused on driving client excellence, while recognizing potential new business opportunities and add-ons to existing mandates.

The individual is expected to proactively communicate with assigned clients via email and meetings on issues of interest in order to build and strengthen client relationships.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?

  • Maintain and strengthen client relationship through high quality client service
  • Effectively and efficiently manage client enquiries to ensure positive experience
  • Assist to collate and analyse data to facilitate sales and research initiatives
  • Handle regular client reporting and data updates in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on CRM to capture and manage important client information
  • Comfortable in handling statistical analysis and data mining requests
  • Provide quality control review on documentations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Respond to multiple inbound client enquiries and requests through phone, email, website, etc.
  • Participate in projects related to industry trends, best practices and regulatory requirements as necessary
  • Remain focused and strive to ensure quality deliverables under tight deadline
  • Adapt to new initiatives and changing conditions swiftly with an open mind
  • What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6-10 years of client service, sales support, or related experience in a client contact capacity within the financial services industry.
  • Asset management is highly preferred

  • Good working knowledge of mutual funds
  • Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented
  • Strong client servicing skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Organized and strong multi-tasking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work along with various functions and lines of business
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong work ethics, team player and positive attitude
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive information
  • Able to build or cultivate strong relationship with external clients as well as internal stakeholders
  • SFC License Type 1 is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Mandarin & Cantonese. Additional Korean language skills will be desirable but not a must
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Solid knowledge of market data infrastructure and applications (Bloomberg and Morningstar)
  • Seniority of the position will depend on candidate’s relevant experience
