Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses.
In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organisations for a variety of functions.
You will :
To responsible for the day-to-day operations of the entire floor of F&B operations with diverse and ambitious dining areas, specialize in western restaurant & bar, noodle station and hotpot in contemporary and fusion style;
liaise with all the concerned sections including staff rostering, training, daily administration and budget control
To manage and develop the restaurant's business by leading a team to provide the highest standard of personalized service to our Members including making recommendations on food and wine, responding to Members' requests, comments and suggestions
To work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and Chef de Cuisine on seasonal food promotions and menu planning
To create new ideas and recommend changes to constantly improve the service standards of the outlet and maintain the consistency of the service and grooming standards of the entire team
You should have :
A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in same capacity of a sizeable luxury hotel, members’ club and a highly recognized western restaurant of catering group
A proven record in operating a sizeable and premium western restaurant with high quality service; strong awareness market trends and well-manage the activities and events for the members and their guests with care and safety
Sound knowledge of cost control and menu engineering, comprehensive knowledge of wines is definitely an advantage
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with strong initiatives to interact with customers and staff
Well versed in computer applications
Ability to communicate in English, Cantonese and Mandarin with guests, colleagues and management in a professional manner
Candidate with less experience would be considered as Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
