Position Overview

Responsible for implementing and monitoring the security strategies and initiatives focused on the protection of employees, physical and inventory assets, and customers for all international locations.

Provide direction and security expertise to Regional Leadership so that the organization will achieve the highest level of security, safety, brand integrity, and company profitability.

The scope of the role will cover the following international region; China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, Japan, Korea, and Asia Pacific (Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand plus any future retail markets.

Key Accountabilities Mitigate Risk

  • Manage, develop and train regional security management through effective coaching and feedback and leveraging the company Performance Management process
  • Coach and develop regional security management through Grow With Tiffany and Performance Management process
  • Responsible for ensuring that all international locations are prepared for and can respond to all major catastrophes through the company Incident Management Program
  • Incident Management Team leader for geographical area of responsibility during major catastrophes
  • Establish goals and drive performance of the Incident Management Program for all locations ensuring that all employees understand what to do in an emergency situation
  • Collaborate with company training networks to develop and implement applicable training material for Incident Management Program
  • Develop and maintain a network of external law enforcement, government officials and security vendors that can respond effectively and quickly for your geographical area of responsibility (not store location specific)
  • Establish Risk Level for all new locations
  • Ensure the security and safety of high-end special events and significant transport of high value product
  • Ensure that front door coverage is maintained pursuant to corporate security established guidelines
  • Improve Cost & Efficiency

  • Ensure Budget targets are met for all Asia Global Protection cost centers
  • Ensure that departmental goals are achieved by setting goals and measures of performance
  • Responsible for all internal and external investigations for locations in your area of geographic responsibility
  • Ensure that all investigations, interviews and interrogations are handled lawfully and timely
  • Liaise with Corporate Security where applicable ensuring proper communication, documentation, and follow-up
  • Maintain established Hard Target standards, physical security measures, and company shrink through security reviews identifying areas of vulnerability and ensuring a high level of security awareness and consistency for all locations
  • Establish goals and monitor performance through metrics seeking opportunities to report key performance indicators to our retail partners and key company executives for awareness and business process improvement
  • Brand Integrity

  • Ensure that all security professionals and contract guards represent the brand consistently with the standards established by corporate security
  • Work with Trademark Enforcement and provide local input on issues
  • Establish goals and drive performance of all security professionals and contract guards to maintain the brand through company provided TEI data
  • Collaborate with company training networks to develop and implement applicable training material that will promote and enhance the brand
  • Required Qualification

  • 15 Years related experience
  • 10 years job related experience in managing a high performing team
  • 10 years job related experience in investigations
  • Ability to develop and maintain credible relationships with law enforcement and governmental agencies
  • Extensive overnight travel
  • Flexible schedule
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Highest level of integrity
  • High degree of experience in all phases of security systems, procedures, investigations legal issues, supervision and training
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent communicator with strong leadership skills and executive presence
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Or similar international degree)
  • Fluent in English (Written and Spoken)
  • Second language (If international)
