Director , Business Development, Company Formation

Reporting to

Head of Commercial, North Asia

Description

Incumbents will need to have a successful track record and some prior exposure to Company Formation / Offshore Sales as well as an existing network and grow our business within the Greater China and Hong Kong region.

Successful profiles will originate, drive and manage new client relationships to their conclusion before passing the contact onto our relationship management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create brand awareness and other marketing initiatives such as event participation and ongoing support of business initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Initiate commercial / sales plan with key objectives and metrics to build and manage a portfolio of intermediary, Publicly Listed (PLC) clients, work with other Service Lines (AI / PC / IE) on ad hoc cross-sell basis
  • Use Marketing Resources, and assist to create Vistra brand awareness and be involved in other marketing initiatives such as event participation and ongoing support of business initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Provide practical business advisory on market entry strategies, company formation, tax compliance, trade, labour and any other Service Lines (AI / PC / IE) cross-sell for our clients
  • Maintain and further strengthen existing relationship with clients as well as introducers
  • Requirements

  • 10-15+ years plus experience in Business Development role gained in Company Formation sector (or similar professional services industry)
  • Strong presentation with excellent planning & organizational skills
  • Service orientated individual who is highly motivated, proactive, strategic, with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to think out of the box and multi-task in fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of individual cultural differences and ability to establish and maintain relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Degree in Law, Economics , Communication or other relevant disciplines
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office especially in PowerPoint
  • Systematic use of commercial reporting and CRM tools is highly regarded
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese is required.
