Job Duties :

Manage the month-end financial closing, timely and accurate submission of local and Group reporting to senior management, Regional Office, Group Office and regulators

Prepare analysis on financial positions and financial performances.

Monitor the finance and accounting systems, policies and procedures to ensure its processes and systems are operating in the most efficient and effective manners.

Propose changes as needed.

Participate in the finance projects as the finance business users (e.g. IFRS17, IFRS 9 and / or other ad hoc projects) and work closely with project teams.

Implement the Group policies and control framework in order to adhere to the relevant local and Group procedures and obtain satisfactory audit and regulators’

Requirement :

At least 6 years of accounting & statutory reporting experience in financial institution or audit firms with insurance accounting experience

Big4 candidates with insurance client portfolio will be considered

Qualified accountant with strong IFRS knowledge

Understanding of local insurance regulatory environment is an advantage

Experience with SAP system is an advantage

University graduate in Accounting, Finance or related discipline

Good command of spoken and written English
