Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor (Media and Cultural Studies) in the School of Creative Media Ref. C / /
Duties : The appointee will teach postgraduate core courses in a well-established programme with a unique focus on the overlap of media and cultural studies, new media theory, and philosophy of technology, along with elective courses in their specific area of specialty and some undergraduate courses.
Requirements : A PhD in related disciplines, with prior teaching experience and a strong academic track record. Given the School's focus on technological literacy, we welcome candidates whose work demonstrates critical awareness of the technological underpinnings of their objects of study and / or candidates who use digitally enhanced methodologies in their studies.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be driven by market competitiveness and individual performance. Excellent fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes, and relocation assistance (where applicable).
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract.
