Job Description & Summary
We are expanding our product and project delivery team to develop, enhance and implement our digital solutions for corporates in multiple industries / sectors.
We recruit talents from junior level to expert level with
passion and knowledge to build fast, modern, and responsive mobile and web based applications. The team is a mix of technical and business professionals and expects everyone involved to fix problems and address challenges of every kind.
As a QA Engineer, you will work closely with Product Managers, Project Managers, Tech Leads, Developers, DevOps and Designers in assessing and monitoring the software design and implementation meet the acceptance criteria in consensus.
Responsibilities would include the following :
Create and execute functional and regression test, stability and compatibility testing, UI automation
testing, web service / API testing and mobile application testing
Perform testing using a variety of test methodologies, including manual and automated testing by
implementing test scripts via tools like Selenium
Report, track, and help determine priorities for enhancements and defects, utilizing tools likes Jira and
Confluence
Actively support / troubleshoot escalated issues from both internal and external counterparts
Collaborate with product owners and developers to design, implement and maintain test plans, test
scenarios and test cases from technical specifications and business requirements
Create and maintain data sets required for test plans
Run smoke tests in production after code release to confirm app works as expected
Capture detailed documentation of test execution
Effectively communicate testing status and test results in both verbal and written forms
Work with project team to ensure adequate test coverage
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
Manage deadlines and deliverables, complete testing in allocated timelines and deliver results under
Pressure
Reporting structure & key relationships
The role will be part of the product and delivery team, working closely with product managers, Business
Analysts, UX / UI designers and development team.
Part of a scrum team and work closely with developers and product team in sprints
Maintains strong working relationships with various internal digital teams
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in QA role for web, Android and iOS applications
Bachelor’s degree or higher, in Computer Science or related field preferred
Experience in functional and regression test, including automated test or manual test definition and
execution
Hands on experience with API, functional, compatibility, acceptance / smoke testing, ad-hoc / exploratory,
database, regression, staging testing
Familiar with using Selenium, Jenkins for automated testing
Knowledge in iOS and Android programming and app testing
Worked with third-party security auditor or risk management department on penetration tests
Experience using issue tracking systems (like Jira) and test case management tools
Prior experience in a development role is preferred
Good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese
