Markets is a product line within Citi Global Wealth Investments (GWI) responsible for the advice on, and execution of, all securities and derivatives across publicly traded markets, with Wealth clients.
Asset classes covered include equity, FX, credit, rates, commodities and hybrids.
The GWI Markets Product Content / Marketing manager will work in close partnership with the GWI Investments Marketing team, the Markets’ Leadership team and business stakeholders, the Investments’ Content Team, the broader Global Wealth Investments organization and other key partners such as Legal and Compliance to develop our Product Content in GWI Markets.
Responsibilities / Duties :
Develop, review and edit marketing and product content materials for internal / external use involving global or regional distribution.
Product content materials cover all the products we offer to our clients in Global Wealth Investments Markets in all asset classes : Fixed Income, Equity, FX, Commodities, Structured Products, Solutions.
Lead the development of client facing and educational literature in support of global investment strategies related to Markets products (via email, video, webcasts as well as other traditional methods as Powerpoint)
Own the marketing / product content go to market plan to face current and future product content / marketing needs in GWI Markets (pre and post-sale).
Implement product campaigns that are aligned with the overall business strategies, including roll out of new products or propositions.
Drive the development of clear capabilities messaging (internal awareness and client facing), including overall investment value proposition
Responsible for Global / Regional product launches content materials, across asset classes and structures. Manage our internal key calls process.
Lead relevant communications for Markets on product content topics.
Create, provide and review editorial content : investor updates, Fact Sheets, sales decks, monthly commentaries, business newsletters.
Manage the Markets presence on website and intranet, ensuring messaging accurate and updated
Manage and improve the business and data processes to streamline product content : including tracking, running, requesting, entering and importing all fact sheet data from multiple sources and automating other processes related to production of content where possible and liaising with vendors and internal partners where needed
Work with legal and compliance partners to ensure all materials are approved as per global and / or regional guidelines and follow specific or regional regulatory requirements
Write video scripts, prepare podcasts, and sales scripts for relevant business stakeholders
Lead various Product Content / Marketing tasks cross all Market’s products and capabilities
Improve and change content materials as our business strategy evolves in GWI. Create a working operating rhythm with our GWI marketing team and investments’ content team to serve the content and marketing needs of our GWI Markets’ clients
Organize targeted GWM forums or events around Products / Themes when relevant.
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA, CFA, Master’s degree a plus
6-15 years or more of relevant Marketing / Product content experience in the Financial Services industry ideally in Markets, Investments, Asset Management / Wealth Management areas
Proven experience in marketing materials creation, development and execution
Financial industry business experience, with strong analytic acumen, experience in sales or other banking functional areas a plus
Solid knowledge of capital markets products / Asset classes : structured products, equities, commodities, foreign exchange, fixed income
Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and marketing tools
Digital marketing experience, or web skills a plus
Experience in handling marketing materials adapting to changing regulatory requirements
Fluent in English, experienced writer in mandarin familiar with financial markets’ terms.
Proactive, results driven with ability and strong experience with problem solving
Experience working in complex organizations with multiple stakeholders at different seniority levels
Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate and influence at multiple seniority levels
