Responsibilities :
Participate in sanctions review projects and initiatives related to sanctions topics
Provide advisory support and coordinate on sanctions-related issues
Review and coordinate sanctions-related escalations (customer level and transaction level)
Facilitate transactions in all business line by providing sanctions advisory support
Work closely with relevant local compliance teams in establishment of appropriate sanctions controls, monitoring procedure and framework based on Head Office and regulatory requirements
Requirements :
Bachelor degree or above, major in law is preferred
Depending on the seniority of the associate, at least 3 years work experience in sanctions-related advisory role
Knowledge of sanctions law is an advantage
Able to work independently under fast-pace and pressure
Familiar with international sanction regimes and key development
Possess good organizational, technical and coordination skill and detail minded
Able to perform extensive research to validate required documents and information
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Chinese and English (verbal and written)
Note : Candidate with more experience will be considered as Vice President.
