Team Head and Senior Manager, Change Delivery (Wealth Management)

Job Purpose :

  • Develop and supervise the team members to achieve the project management and business analysis / consulting role in a professional manner.
  • Manage large / complex projects in various areas and of different natures to meet project timeframe and budget and user expectation.
  • Provide business analysis and consulting services to users and project teams as a solution architect.
  • Identify opportunities and manage projects for operations and technology deployment with a view to enhancing operations efficiency, productivity improvement and service quality.
  • Main Responsibilities :

  • Develop, manage, guide and daily supervise a high-performance and versatile team to deliver professional work.
  • Plan and effectively manage the team resources, assign and prioritize projects to appropriate team members.
  • Supervise team members and the undertaking projects, review / approve team members’ work outputs and ensure timely and quality project deliverables.
  • Resolve project issues and team issues, and escalate to the Department Head and, if necessary, Division Head.
  • Manager internal client divisions / departments.
  • Manage stakeholders, IT counterparts, vendors / consultants.
  • Liaise with auditors and regulators when required.
  • Support and provide advice in feasibility study / solution sourcing, and manage large or complex projects.
  • Advise and review user requirements in the control, compliance, efficiency and best practice perspectives, and play a solution architect’s role.
  • Keep abreast of relevant latest regulatory requirements, industry initiatives, requirements and protocols, and relevant technology and solutions in best effort.
  • Support Department Head / Division Head in ad hoc assignments.
  • Initiate and drive new projects / solutions on group-wide productivity / quality improvement, cost reduction, change management and new technology deployment.
  • Incumbent Requirements :

  • A degree holder with at least years’ relevant experience in banking industry / consulting firms, including 3 years at supervisory level
  • Strong project management, people management, influencing and analytical skills
  • Sound knowledge in system development life cycle and process reengineering methodology
  • Good knowledge in banking products and services (especially wealth management products and compliance programs)
  • Team player, good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
