Equity Derivatives and Trading - Operations Technology Lead This role is for an experienced Technology Director to join the Equity Derivatives and Trading (EDT) Technology and lead our Middle Office and Back Office global technology team, part of the wider Commodities and Global Markets (CGM) Technology division.
You will join a fast-paced, dynamic and energetic DevOps team, aligned to Equity Derivatives and Trading division and provide technology solutions supporting our EDT Operations team.
We are looking for an established technologist with a track record in developing and leading high performing teams. Your role will be to lead the development team, oversee the development and support activities to ensure platform stability, architecture simplification, technology progress, as well as its functional enhancement.
As a manager, you will lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
You will undertake management responsibilities which will include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing management tasks.
You will display a high degree of transaction ownership, possess a strong commercial acumen with the ability to re-prioritize in a changeable environment.
