We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Regional Senior Space Data Management and Occupancy Planning Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Primary owner of CRE Space data for the Region, particularly to ensure that FMS Space Data Management System is accurately and robustly maintained as the golden source’ of space data for all properties across the region.
  • Provide overall management and support on the Occupancy Planning and end to end Space Data Management process for the region.
  • Regional HSBC lead in overseeing and managing the Occupancy planning and space data management function. Ensure there is sufficient and competent outsourced resource to support country activity related to occupancy planning
  • Ensure effective usage of various Occupancy Planning tools in the region to enable CRE Heads to take informed decision about their portfolio.
  • Responsible for providing occupancy related business analytics to the Regional CRE leadership, such as capacity and vacancy information, demand and release pipeline and options of occupancy solutions, restack, reuse, consolidation or relocation.
  • Responsible for participating and contributing towards the overall governance forums and methodologies that are agile and responsive, leading to quality and timely space data.
  • Responsible to provide a standard suite of reports for the portfolio in the region based on various occupancy metrics.
  • Track all the cost saves and cost avoidance in the region. Prepare relevant case study documents for sharing best practices within wider CRE teams.
  • Responsible for working closely with the Regional and Country Moves, Adds, Changes lead in ensuring that the process is providing the correct data and inputs to the SDM team.
  • Escalate as appropriate to Regional CRE head, and into functional leadership.

  • Ensure that the Regional Team, CRE Country Heads, Country Office Planners are clear on roles and scope for Occupancy Planning and SDM Function in the region.
  • Responsible to ensure good collaboration and two way flow of information to and from the Operational Mgmt and Operational Intelligence leads in country and region on their space data responsibilities and sign offs.
  • Requirements

  • Extensive experience of working within a global matrixed organization with a strong understanding of HSBC structures, processes and objectives across the Group is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Real Estate, and developement of CRE solutions and plans to meet business and headcount growth requirement
  • Management maturity and gravitas with associated tact and influencing skills.
  • Strong people management skills and an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Prior experience of having worked and managed large amounts of data and database systems that have a global reach is an essential requirement.
  • Highly numerate and able to pull together complex and diverse elements to generate and present in a clear, and understandable way.
  • High level of personal drive and motivation to ensure delivery of a broad range of outputs simultaneously.
  • Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with Senior Managers across the business and especially with Finance.
  • Excellent understanding of Business Transformation Frameworks and best practice programme management techniques. Practical experience of major business transformation activities with a global remit.
  • Strong business and commercial awareness.
  • Proven ability to prioritise competing demands and handle ambiguity.
  • Proven abilities in working across cultures.
