Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flow, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset.

With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.

To scope with the increasing customer demands in the new economy, we are hiring a GTS product sales specialist with focus on digital and cash management for institutional and fintech clients


  • Responsible to drive the cash management and digital solutions to deliver the revenue targets and KPIs to meet the overall GTS business objectives
  • Align with the respective RMs on the overall customer digital and cash management business objectives and customer segment targets
  • Work with the Relationship Managers, GTS Product, GTS Implementation, T&O and relevant stakeholders to deliver the agreed solutions.
  • Achieve agreed revenue by proactively generating new deals, conducting needs analysis, developing customer-focused sales presentations, delivering differentiated solutions and conducting sales pitches
  • Assist in executing sales strategies of cash management and digital products and services for the designated customer and prospect base
  • Manage post-sales implementation and service delivery, and handle related customer issues to enhance customer experience
  • Be conversant with the current trends and development in the respective markets, in particular for new economy clients (e.
  • g. fintech, e-commerce, asset management, brokerage, payment aggregators, insurance and financial institutions etc.)

  • Knowledge on the regulatory frameworks (SFC, HKMA etc) of regulated institutional clients would be an advantage
  • Assess all deal values accurately, balancing the need to generate positive economic profit against the deliverables
  • Provide appropriate reports to track sales and revenue growth
  • Connect the team to support the overall strategic direction and ensure execution against set objectives
  • Requirements

  • Degree holder in related disciplines
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in banking, financial institutions, fintech, new economy
  • Strong aspiration to develop career in cash management and digital solutions, prior sales experience is not a must if determine to move to customer-facing opportunity with good exposure on digital and payment platform related technical background
  • Prior exposure on institutional and fintech clients including payment platforms, brokerage, asset management, digital channels, fintech, payment aggregators
  • Self-starter with a tenacity to succeed, and a flair for customer facing solutioning and selling
  • Excellent communication, presentation and consultative solutioning skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, able to drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin)
  • Less experienced but outstanding candidates would be considered for AVP as appropriated
