The Charities Department is currently looking for a Project Manager to be part of the central coordination team to coordinate and manage the planning, development and implementation of a Trust-initiated Project, i.
e. the Jockey Club Learn-to-Swim Project for Primary Students to ensure objectives and timelines are met.
To be part of the project, you will :
oversee the preparation and implementation of the project by developing project plans and collaborating with project partners for an aligned goal to plan and implement the project
monitor the progress, budget spending and evaluation of the project
engage different stakeholders in project management and execution including but not limited to practitioners from sport and health sector, NGOs, government departments, academia, school teachers and parent groups, etc.
supervise publicity events, public relations and communication strategies of the project and disseminate the project concept through various communication channels such as media, publications, conferences, etc.
prepare progress report and provide secretarial support for Steering Committee and working groups of the project
You should have :
Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Communication or Marketing preferred
at least 10 years' working experience, preferably in charity / community sports & recreation or schools project management
solid experience in project management, preferably with direct experiences in dealing with schools, academia, government, NGOs , media and professional sports & recreation bodies would be an added advantage
excellent communication skills and writing skills (in both English and Chinese)

strong personal drive with innovative mindset
candidate with lesser experience may be considered for Project Support Manager, Charities
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
