Role description :

The data architecture role will entail support to help deliver data solutions through defining, collecting, managing, and analysing their workplace and real estate information.

It is expected the lead will develop an understanding of the client organisation to enable effective analysis of the data and to help advise on future requirements to enhance the value of the clients data portfolio.

They will be working a cross functional organisation and team which provides a range of solutions and advice to clients across Asia.

Teamwork, speed of delivery and client focus are critical to the outputs we deliver.

Role accountabilities :

  • Supporting data related activities on the account
  • Leading on specific data workstreams determined by the client
  • Determining potential data output from specific systems and technologies and advising on how to best extract this
  • Design and build an integrated data model, combining disparate datasets from multiple systems / technologies
  • Provide a clear specification of potential metrics and visualizations enabled by a data model
  • Design and development of Business Intelligence dashboards to provide clear, concise insight to a wide audience
  • Communicate with client team to obtain and clearly rationalize business requirements, providing advice on whether these can be satisfied and estimated timescales
  • Build and manage an effective data pipeline which satisfies the operational requirements of the client organization
  • Perform as-is analysis of current data landscape and define an idealized to-be state which provides optimal output for the client
  • Analyze data to investigate trends and provide insight to the client through clear presentation and communication.
  • Provide the client with a clear understanding of the methodology and process which leads to the end product
  • Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelors, and ideally Masters degree qualified in STEM subject (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or similar).
  • MUST have good spoken and written English
  • Experience with a specific BI tool (Tableau preferable but Power BI, Qlikview, Alteryx etc.. also accepted)
  • Experience in a programming language (at least one of Python, R, SQL a must)
  • Experience in cleaning and transforming complex data sets
  • Working knowledge of data models and creating an efficient data pipeline
  • Strong stakeholder engagement able to take business focused requirements and translate to technical data requirements and deliver against these
  • An interest in proptech / workplace strategy is desirable
  • Ability to present methodologies and results to all levels in a business environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organisational skills
  • Ability to adhere to a wider working plan and meet external and self-imposed deadlines
  • Accurate attention to detail
  • Curious mindset, wanting to expand knowledge and experience in data / digital tools, technologies and techniques.
