HR Manager, Asia

We are recruiting a HR manager for Asia who will be responsible for the recruitment and development of top quality media professionals.
This HR generalist role is to support the Regional HR Director, Asia Pacific, in the development and delivery of a best practice regional HR service.
The key responsibilities of the role are to look after key staffing functions including recruitment, policies and procedures, training and performance management.
The role will be based in Hong Kong or Singapore.
How you will contribute :
Manage the entire recruitment cycle for all levels of staff across the Asia region
Work closely with hiring managers to design and develop appropriate recruitment channels
Deliver timely, quality and professional HR advice on recruitment, employee engagement and performance management
Manage staff transfer with global HR team and manage regional staff work visas
Keep update on regional employment laws and employment best practices
Execute HR policies and procedures in compliance with appropriate ordinances
Review, manage, and advise on contracts / agreements and regulatory reporting
Manage an on-line recruitment tracking system
Conduct training needs analysis and assist in formulation, planning, implementation and administration of regional training and development activities
Design and implement various HR programs to enhance employees’ engagement
Compile regular HR-related statistics and reports for management review
Conduct regular HR research and surveys, including compensation benchmarking surveys
Manage and / or participate in ad hoc regional / global HR projects
Experience, skills and professional attributes
The ideal skills for this role are :
University graduates with four to five years’ experience as a HR generalist with Asia regional exposure
Solid recruitment experience in Hong Kong and China is essential, Singapore, Japan & India experience an advantage
Good knowledge of the employment laws in Hong Kong, China and other Asian countries
Knowledge of compensation and benefits best practice in Asia
Good knowledge with practical recruitment experience through on-line and social media recruitment channels in Asia
Hands on experience of HRIS and recruitment tracking system
Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin)
Good Google for work and Microsoft office skills
