Who are we looking for?
As a Tech Tribe Lead you will report to the CIO and be the trusted partner of the Tribe Lead to ensure delivery of stable, secure, compliant and cost efficient solutions.
You are key in maximising the Tribe's success. Together you will develop a roadmap that delivers on the tribe's purpose and Mox's strategy.
Through defining the Tribe's IT direction, you will grow and develop the capability of IT professionals in your area and contribute to further growing the engineering culture at Mox.
You will be accountable for system maintenance as the IT asset owner, as well as risk management, security and life cycle management of the Tribe's specific IT assets.
Role Responsibilities
leading and allocating engineering and technical delivery resources of approximately 30 FTE, both internal and through preferred suppliers (onshore or offshore).
accountable as IT Asset Owner at Tribe level
delivering on the Tribes roadmap while making sure the teams effectively embrace and utilise Mox's values and agile way of working.
defining the Tribe's Technology Strategy and direction in line with the bank's IT Strategy.
leading the squads towards maximum availability of the applications by establishing preventive controls and guiding incident reviews
driving innovation and increasing capabilities of the tribe
leading and inspiring your squads (onshore and offshore) to increase and improve the agile practices in your tribe
stimulating interaction between and alignment across tribes, squads, areas and chapters and across borders
driving cross-cultural collaboration by creating awareness and understanding, leveraging diversity
creating an atmosphere in which everyone feels appreciated and heard, and where everyone enjoys their work
Our Ideal Candidate
A degree in computer science / engineering / technology
At least 3 years' experience in leading financial services technology teams
Proven experience in banking / investment technology strategy
Experience with working with Agile and DevOps delivery
Proven experience in developing engineering capability and effectiveness in a team
Experience with large scale complex IT system design and delivery
Knowledge on modern software architecture (e.g. cloud native, container, microservice architecture)
Experience working within technology risk frameworks
Experience in management and negotiation of vendor contracts
