Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation.
In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Ensure the highest standard of customer services.
Look after the conducts of accounts and take note of any abnormalities or irregularities.
Maintain appropriate level of contact with internal / external customers.
Familiar with the application systems in the Bank.
Override transactions beyond the authority of tellers and ensure the regularity of such transaction.
Check and sign the transaction vouchers and computer output reports.
Monitor operational control, with particular attention to transactional execution.
Pay attention to the general internal control requirement and any possible fraudulent behavior manifested by the subordinates.
Hold keys to vault, safe and cabinet, and other important keys.
Familiar with HKAB, statutory requirements and relevant regulations
Ensure the tasks assigned by AVP / Senior Associate are completed in a timely manner.
Perform independent review functions or other operational duties from time to time designated by AVP / Senior Associate .
Comply with UDMA Policy requirement as well as UDMA governance process, control and support tasks, if required.
Monitor performance of Assistant Officer, with particular attention to initiative, operational efficiency and service standards.
Advise AVP / Senior Associate of any unsatisfactory performance on the part of the Bank Assistants so that early action can be taken to improve the situation.
Supervise the teller / back office terminal operations on a day-to-day basis.
Report to AVP / Senior Associate on a regular and ad hoc basis.
Provide useful information and valuable suggestions for AVP's reference in decision making.
Keep informed of all relevant bank policies.
Effectively communicate within own unit and with other bank department / divisions.
Minimum 3 years' experience in banking operations, preferable in branch operations.
Solid branch operations experience.
Strong customer relations and communication skills.
Good leadership skill.
Good in both English and Chinese.
Knowledge in PC.
