Client Strategy Analyst

The Role

Reporting to the Client Strategy Manager, the Client Strategy Analyst will be responsible for researching the art and auction markets, conducting analyses and providing insights, and supporting Christie’s client coverage and client engagement efforts in designated geographies

Specific duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

  • Research art and auction markets, keep abreast of market happenings and collector activities, and help develop insights that are relevant to Christie's client engagement efforts
  • Help identify high potential clients, both consignors and bidders, for Christie’s sales
  • Ensure relevant information from research and analyses are regularly entered, maintained and updated in Christie’s databases, whilst adhering to corporate data governance framework and guidelines
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the Client Strategy Manager and Regional Client Strategy Director and ensure they are available in a timely manner
  • Organize and schedule meetings, record meeting minutes and help follow-up on action points
  • Support special events and touring exhibitions as required, including preparing guest lists, bios, and debriefing colleagues subsequent to the event
  • Participate in other duties as required, including auction-based duties such as live clerking and telephone bidding
  • The Candidate

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized University
  • At least two years working experience in the art, auction, luxury, private banking or management consulting industries, but we welcome fresh graduates who demonstrate passion and ability
  • Fluency in English, with fluency in additional East Asian or Southeast Asian languages a plus
  • Strong written, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competent, accurate and proven ability in managing and analysing data
  • Attention to detail and able to prioritise, manage time effectively and work under pressure to tight deadlines, whilst keeping an eye on longer-term projects.
