JOB PURPOSE :
Ensure the release of high-quality, educational, and informational materials that present our products in fair, balanced, and ethical manner.
Provide professional medical services and updated local regulations to internal / external customers.
Provide medical information service for company products to internal or external customers.
To be scientific background to sales and marketing by medical training.
Support for pharmacovigilance data management & problem pharmacovigilance training and update local regulation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Medical Affairs : (Therapeutic area medical associate)
Handle medical affairs activities including pharmacovigilance.
Develop strategic medical plan.
Provide medical / scientific support for clinical development, KOL management, Market Access aspects and commercial activities
Provide scientific communication to all key stakeholders in the country / MCO
Handle medical queries
Conduct and handle clinical trials for the responsible products.
Ensure the scientific integrity of sponsored and supported research, information, and relationships with healthcare providers and patient advocacy groups within the geographic area
Develop core strategies together with marketing department
Supports the business by understanding the competitive market dynamics and proposing appropriate strategic actions to meet company objectives
Work transversally with the Strategic Units on all activities in order to meet company objectives
Provide medical support including medical advice and product training to Sales & Marketing team
Medical information service
Understands the basic principles of information storage and retrieval, and searches a range of suitable information resources.
Receive enquiries or written request from the professions, customers or internal stakeholders, assessing their needs, determining the most appropriate source of answer and deliver it to customers in a timely and concise way.
With assistance can apply information effectively for each circumstance.
Promotional material preview and archiving
Preview promotional material to ensure compliance of global and local standard operating procedure.
Check the consistency between final materials and approval version
Maintain filing and update database
Provision of training to company staff on SOP and local regulation
Provide training on local SOPs and relevant local regulations
Knowledge-base maintenance for published and unpublished literature databases, common questions and answers, standard letters and information sheets on the company’s products.
Basic understanding of the department’s records management policy, and is aware of the action for the records associated with each business process with reference to the retention schedule.
Act as medical center of excellence to help medical directors on matters including : Draft local SOPs and design the training and executionOversee the implementation and monitor the progress of all policy and guideline executionEnsure by tracking medical events being dealt with and handled in the most professional and appropriate manner and are in strict adherence to company’s policies and guidelines.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor degree or above, majored in pharmacy (preferred) or science / para-medical
At least 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Familiar with local and global requirement & regulation on pharmacovigilance & promotional practice is highly preferred
Previous experience on handling pharmacovigilance, medical information and / or promotional material approval is highly preferred
Adequate medical and pharmaceutical knowledge
Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese
Good presentation skills
Writing and summarizing skills
Familiar with computer skills (MS-Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS-Publisher)
