University graduate

7 years category management experience in retail sector (with purchasing experience in FMCG sector is highly preferable)

At least 4 years experience in leading a buying team

Commit and good at driving sales & margin

Excellent vendor relationship management in FMCG products

Proactive and sensitive to market trend

Can Work independent, have strong analytical skill and strategically thinking

Strong organizational and communication skills

Proficient in PC application, especially MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing

Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese

Working Experience in supermarket or convenience store is highly preferred

Job Duties

Direct the formulation and implementation of merchandising plan including product mix and marketing plan to achieve the target revenue and company profit

Analyze market opportunities to identify areas of growth and margin improvement

Lead the buying team to develop the optimum range by store clusters

Generate sales through sourcing competitive products and developing an attractive and profitable product range

Drive the development of impactful category plans to increase customer count

Supplier and stock management
