An exciting opportunity exists within the Club’s Racing Division to support the Club’s contribution to major international bodies including the Asian Racing Federation (ARF) and the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA).
This role offers the opportunity to support racing administrators, experts and stakeholders internationally, and organise major events and engagement activities on the international racing calendar which attract and engage members, leaders and racing administrators globally.
As a member of the International and Racing Regulation team, the candidate will have the opportunity to work on initiatives and projects which support the Club’s position as a leader in racing at the regional and global level.
You will :
Provide support to the operation of the Asian Racing Federation (ARF) with a particular focus on member and stakeholder engagement and communications.
Assist to manage the ARF website, prepare ARF communications, execute events and projects for the ARF.
Assist with the organisation of the Asian Racing Conference (ARC), a major event on the international racing calendar, by working closely with the host.
Be part of the Club’s team supporting the IFHA’s Executive Office functions, and engagement with stakeholders, members and technical committees, as well as the implementation of key IFHA projects or events.
Assist with the implementation and execution of the Racing Division’s first-line Compliance Programme.
Oversee and manage procurement and other administrative exercises for key projects and events.
Manage and coordinate work and projects of the International and Racing Regulation team portfolio of responsibilities.
You should have :
at least five years’ relevant experience in communications, event management, research and / or executive office support, preferably in sizeable international organisations;
a degree in a field demonstrating such skills such as communications, economics, law, marketing, or business administration;
proven capacity to manage projects and communicate effectively with senior professionals;
demonstrated capacity to develop and produce engaging communications and presentations across a variety of platforms (for example, written reports, PowerPoints, video media, webinars, other conference / event presentations);
excellent organisation skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritise work across multiple streams;
integrity and be highly trustworthy, dependable, respectful and responsible in the workplace;.
proficient in Microsoft Office programmes, website content management systems (e.g. Webflow, Wordpress) and CRM platforms (e.
g. MailChimp and HubSpot);
fluent in English; proficiency in other languages would be highly advantageous; and
preferably, a good working knowledge of international sports and racing.

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
